The Real Seal: Our Core Values

The Real Seal: Our Core Values
The Real Seal: Our Core Values

Every company (supposedly) has core values. We take ours to heart. They are the common thread throughout our organization that allows us to operate with the prevision and reliability we have come to be known for. Each of our employees resonate with these values, and we hold them to be the most important part of our people, and thus the most important part of our company.

Have a Positive Attitude

You would be surprised how often this is overlooked. A positive attitude is infectious, just like a smile. Seeing co-workers with a positive attitude in a negative situation will motivate and inspire others to do the same. In fact, the best resolutions come from those who are carrying a positive attitude, and we encourage that in every single area of our company. There is no use being a grouch all day, no matter what is happening is only makes the situation worse. Be positive and spread the smiles.

Take Responsibility

It is too often an occurrence for a company to shirk responsibility to someone else. At The Real Seal, we believe it is our responsibility. We believe that we are here to solve problems, foresee issues, and help our customers come out on top. Our goal is to take responsibility for your issue and help you to solve it, together. This means stepping up to do what is right and ensuring that the job is done to the client’s satisfaction.

Be Respectful

The obvious highlight here is being respectful for customers. But we take this much more seriously than that. We believe we should all treat each other with respect every single day. There is no excuse in treating someone with disrespect or condemnation. We are here to help each other, and as a team we solve problems quicker and better. In order to do that, we must respect each other, and our abilities to learn and grow. As long as we can accomplish that, nothing will stand in our way.

Communicate Clearly

Ever see those videos with the long line of people who have to “mime” the action from the person behind them? As the “action” changes hands, it changes a bit each time. By the end of the line, the action is nothing like it started. Clear communication is key in order for actions to be completed as it was given. We have multiple processes in place to ensure this happens. When we all communicate clearly internally and externally, everyone’s expectations are met or exceeded. It is a simple recipe for success.

Pay Attention To Detail

You would think this, too, would be a given in a business. More commonly, it is the first thing overlooked. Sales reps that jump to the worst conclusions without evaluating the details will lead to a job that does not address the problem. Crews that are not attentive to details on the job will install work that does not function as it is supposed to. Office staff that do not pay attention to details when scheduling will double-book appointments. It is our goal to be attentive to every single aspect of the process to ensure the job goes off smoothly. It is the attention to these details that helps to set us apart and helps our specialists diagnose issues that save you thousands of $$$s from the “Glen Garry Glenross” sales reps that plague our industry.

Be Adaptive

The only thing we can count on in life is change. Nothing ever stays the same, and neither do we. We are constantly growing, adapting, and learning. In order to become the best version of ourselves, we must be constantly working to improve. This goes throughout our entire organization, each and every day. We are constantly working to improve processes, services, and education. Being adaptive helps to keep us at the top of the industry, and helps to keep our employees at the top of their ability.

Pretty simple, right? What makes these Core Values so valuable is how we apply them to ourselves each and every single day. Thanks for reading, and as always:
